Various locations throughout the City of Mountain View

The Mountain View Transportation Management Association (MTMA) is a nonprofit organization founded for the purpose of reducing traffic congestion in the City of Mountain View. MTMA is governed by a board of directors, currently comprised of the following member companies:

  • Broadreach Capital Partners
  • City of Mountain View
  • Elementum
  • Google
  • Intuit
  • LinkedIn
  • Merlone Geier
  • Microsoft
  • Prometheus
  • Rockwood Capital
  • Samsung Research America
  • Sares Regis Group of Northern California
  • Sobrato Organization
  • Symantec

Gray-Bowen-Scott was retained by the MTMA board to serve as the Executive Director of the organization and played a key role in forming the organization in 2013. In this capacity, our experienced team built the services of the MTMA from the ground up and is responsible for managing all aspects of the organization.

The services of the MTMA are branded as “MVGo” and include a fare-free “last-mile” shuttle service connecting commuters from the Mountain View Transit Center to various locations throughout the city. The MTMA offers riders several options including multiple fixed shuttle routes, and discounted carpool trips through partnerships with Waze Carpool and discounted Uber and Lyft Trips during the mid-day to provide commuters with alternative modes of transportation for their commute. An enormous bonus to the community is that all MVgo services are available to the general public. By offering these alternative commute solutions, the MTMA reduces single-occupant vehicle traffic by nearly two hundred thousand vehicles annually.
